The total land area is 2934 km², consisting of the two large islands of Upolu and Savai'i which account for 99% of the total land area, and eight small islets. Narrow coastal plain with volcanic, rocky, rugged mountains in interior The combination of tropical climate and fertile soil make Samoa the perfect breeding ground for rainforests and other lush landscapes.   Samoa is blessed with an abundance of gorgeous waterfalls, each with their own distinctive charm.
